Living on the Water
Living on an island in the Bay of Fundy, we are surrounded by water and beautiful vistas abound. With the highest tides in the world (over 50′ at the head of the bay), Grand Manan experiences 25′ tides, which means that large stretches of the intertidal zone are exposed at the lowest tides. Vast, ever changing skies are reflected in tidal pools and on wet sand. There are often pectacular sunrises and sunsets. It is a reality that never grows old.
